Role in the BeXyl Project: Project Coordinator and Work Package 10 leader. Active participation in: 1) Host range and pathogenicity of Xf strains, 2) Population biology and genomics of Xf strains, 3) Molecular approaches for quantification, typing and in-situ detection of Xf in plants and vectors; 4) Use of thermal treatments for sanitation of Xf-free plants; 5) Identification of plant resistance in woody crops to Xf. 6) Developing synthetic communities of xylem-inhabiting bacteria to fight against Xf; 7) Analysis of ecological impacts associated with Xf outbreaks.
